The Role:
- Develop and update mining plans using the AutoCAD Civil 3D product.
- Operate survey instruments including Total Station, GPS and Level.
- Collect and process survey data to assist in preparation of plans reports and other forms of spatial information.
- Complete subsidence surveys in accordance with relevant mining approvals
- Adherence to the requirements of the survey management plan.
- Maintain the mine's underground survey model and layers
- Updating and filing the statutory mine plans to the frequency and standard as required by relevant legislation
- Provide technical surveying services and support to management, superintendents and supervisors
Essential Skills / Qualifications:
- A degree/diploma in Surveying or an equivalent qualification
- 4-6 years' experience in Underground Surveying
- High level of verbal and written communication
- A professional work ethic and the ability to strive for continuous improvement
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
